Gigi said: "I'm sorry to have not been present at the second annual Alumni Regatta this year. I embarked on a transatlantic delivery that same day aboard 92' Sparkman & Stephens ketch Carmella. We stopped in Horta, Faial in the Azores for a few days, and painted our names and our boat at the dock there. I am currently in Palma de Majorca for the month, and planning to return to Newport for the rest of the fall.
2009 was a successful summer. I took care of, and did all of the legwork, for 6-Metre Madcap's racing program... I crewed in most of the races this summer, as well as participated in my fifth season of Herreshoff S-Boat racing on Narragansett Bay. Last summer I was full time on S/Y Ticonderoga of Greenwich with Charles Moore (IYRS 07)
So far for this winter, it looks like another Caribbean season awaits- as I'm actively searching for another full time program... the latest & greatest."
