Of course by now you know, we have an alumni website and we are moving forward to better and bigger things. We thought, however, that while the website is a venue to promote ourselves, our school and what we like about wooden boats, we also need a place to relax, joke, say things freely and help develop further the camaraderie we started in the dark winter nights in Newport or Bristol
So we launched a face book account and a group for us, no extra messages from outside just what we want to say to each other or what we always wanted to say and hesitated to do so.
Lets see how it works, we are certainly becoming a small crowd and who knows where this will take us. It will be up to all of us to make this a success or something no one will care to waste his time with it.
You are all welcome to start posting your news, photos, videos, (keep the risque stuff for elsewhere we have women and young people among us), songs, anything.
For future graduates, we also hope you will join us early and by the time you graduate, you will be ready to get into the spirit of what we try to do.
Off we go Yo ho ho and and bottle of rum!!!
